23 Mar – The Dutch government has announced today that no events may be organized in the Netherlands until 1 June due to the coronavirus outbreak. This means that the UT-Triathlon will not take place on May 17, 2020.

The organization has already started researching an alternative date for the UT-Triathlon in the past week, Sunday 27 September is preferred. However, this date is not yet final. It remains to be seen whether the necessary permits can be obtained, among other things. The organization will announce as soon as possible whether the race can be postponed.

Refund requests are not yet being processed. The organization will first focus on moving the race and will later provide participants with the option to either receive the entry fee back or participate on September 27 (if the race can take place). Refunds will then be made in accordance with the cancellation scheme of the Dutch Triathlon Federation.

More information will follow as soon as possible.
